Last year over 500 sea turtles were rescued from the beaches of Massachusetts after being stranded.  The sea turtles, unable to dive and swim during their migration south, stranded themselves in an effort to avoid hypothermia caused by strong onshore winds and very cold waters.

In came Leslie Weinstein, a key member in saving the sea turtles by organizing an improvised airlift. Weinstein, being a member of the Development Board of the Archie Carr Center for Sea Turtle Research at the University of Florida and founder of True-Lock LLC combined his passion and resources to bring together general aviation to airlift the sea turtles from the New England Aquarium to rehab centers in the southern coastal states.

Now is a critical time for sea turtles and they are in need of more resources, air crafts, and more people. This sight was specifically designed to do just that. This is a community board where people can connect for the cause of helping these amazing creatures. We invite you to post photos, write your experiences, connect resources, and organize ideas.
